June 3, 2025 - The First ever Work Weekend/Work Retreat will be June 20th, 21st and 22nd. Our first focus will be to replace the stairway leading down to the bridge from the Hill (the stairs to the Boys side). Meals starting with Friday night dinner will be provided. May 17, 2025 - The Spring Work Day was a huge success! Twenty-Two volunteers came together from Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota to work on preparing WCYC for the 2025 Summer Season. Some highlights:
The boys cabins were cleaned following the installation of new metal roofs on the boys’ cabins - YEAH!
Brush and tree limbs were mulched.
New benches were added to the Nature Center deck.
Grounds cleanup following winter progressed.
Dining Hall windows were washed - I can see clearly now!
New stairs were started at the Iron Bridge leading up to The Hill.
Work continued on the Memorial Walkway. It looks really great. Head to camp and check it out!
