Camp Session Staff
Our biggest, most important, and most consistent need for volunteers is in the realm of camp staff.
Each week of our youth camp sessions requires over 30 volunteers. That includes cooks, kitchen help, Bible class leaders, the nurse, the lifeguard, activities leaders and cabin counselors, and others.
If you have a passion for guiding youth in their spiritual walk, lead a daily small group Bible discussion.
If you are a registered nurse, our sessions can’t run without you.
If you love high-energy activity, be our games coordinator.
If you thrive on connecting with the kids, be a cabin counsellor.
If you want to help, but kids kinda drive you nuts, but you support the cause… help the kitchen staff prepare and serve the food, or clean the kitchen after each meal.
Whatever the role, the work has to get done.

WCYC is set on 450 acres of Wisconsin forest. We’ve carved out a nice little slice of paradise.
But, Mother Nature is constantly trying to reclaim her territory. Trees fall. Walkways erode. Rodents infest. Mold grows.
If you can manage a trip to the property in Black River Falls, there is an unending need for maintenance and repair to our numerous buildings, paths and fire circles. And, the condition of these elements of the camp grounds has a direct impact on our summer youth camp sessions.
Are you a carpenter? Can you split wood? Do you have an obsession about cleaning rooms? Or, do you just have a heart for service… and, have at least a slight ability to do work?
Whatever your skill level, we can use you.
