Welcome to Wisconsin Christian Youth Camp
If you are looking for a beautiful, safe, fun camp for your youngster, you have found it at Wisconsin Christian Youth Camp (WCYC).
These few pages are meant to give you an introduction to who we are, and how we operate, and how you can get more information. If you have any questions, please, use the form at the bottom of the page. We'll get in touch as soon as we can.
As a brief introduction, we are a Christian organization, with 450 acres of beautiful forest, just south of Black River Falls, Wisconsin. Our primary mission is bringing kids into a closer relationship with their Creator, the God of the Old and New Testaments -- and, Jesus Christ, the Savior of all humankind.
WCYC expresses that mission primarily through seven weeks of youth Bible camp during the summer. Each session caters to one of four different age ranges, from nine years old through high school. (For details on those sessions, click here.) Each camp session is administered by a "camp director", who is supported by approximately 25 adult staff volunteers.
The campers sleep in bunk beds in one of 13 cabins on the property. Days at camp are filled with various activities... including a Bible study, nature class, games and goofing around, cooling off in Robinson Creek, (which runs right through the property) morning and evening devotional moments, hikes and singing time around campfires.
We have a state-certified kitchen and food-prep facility, staffed by a dedicated and certified "kitchen manager". The kitchen is further supported from an additional four or five kitchen volunteers.
