The first summer camp session for Wisconsin Christian Youth Camp was held in August, 1956 at a rented YMCA campground near Black River Falls. WCYC summer camp consisted of a single two week session until 1961 when the first session was held on our own campground at Fallhall Glen. The season was expanded to 4 weeks.
Since the purchase of Fallhall Glen, which was a fishing resort, many improvements have been added while trying to retain the character of the beautiful old log structures. Many workers and donors contributed to our present facility which is considered one of the outstanding Christian youth camps in the country. The addition of 5 cabins, a dining hall, bath house, nurse's cabin-infirmary, craft cabin, a new caretaker's residence, new great hall, hiking trails, fire circles, and camp sites have provided a facility which now serves about 400 campers over 9 weeks of summer camp, and many others in sessions throughout the year.
