After summer camp,
life at Fallhall Glen goes on.
There are many additional activities after the final bell has rung at summer camp. Congregational retreats, Labor Day Encampment, York Days, Midwest Preachers Retreat, Work camps, Community service group gatherings, a young adult retreat and more keep Fallhall Glen filled with activity. Even in winter, when camp utilities are shut down for the season, people use the camp for cross country skiing, winter camping and other activities that bring children and adults together to share in the snow covered beauty.
A little history of
Wisconsin Christian Youth Camp
The first summer camp session for Wisconsin Christian Youth Camp was held in August 1956 at Bradfield campground near Black River Falls. WCYC summer camp consisted of a single two week session until 1961 when the first season at the newly purchased Fallhall Glen was expanded to two, two week sessions. Since then, many improvements have been added, while retaining the character of the original rustic fishing resort. We now serve about 500 campers and staff over 9 weeks of summer camp.
